The Newcastle Institute for Social Renewal is pleased to invite proposals for applications for funding of research, teaching and learning activities which contribute to the aims and objectives of NISR.
NISR was setup in 2012 to explore new ways in which a research intensive university – its staff and students – can connect with society in order to make a difference. It has been able to make a valuable and distinctive contribution through a wide variety of awards during its first year, funding a range of research, teaching and engagement activities.
NISR would now like to receive applications for funding from staff of the University. Applications may include students and external partners but the application must come from a member of academic staff who will act as principal investigator (PI). The deadline for this second award round is Friday 2 May 2014.
